Opening April 29th and running through June 2nd. We invite you to participate in this FREE and interactive exhibit for all ages! Come reflect on Ignacio's history while finding out how you connect to your community with local exhibits, events and programs designed to complement the Smithsonian exhibition. |

Songs, crafts and stories for our youngest library patrons. Join us to help them have a lifelong love of reading! Every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
Join us for Family Fun Night featuring the book Plantzilla by Jerdine Nolan! We'll have dinner and activities that go along with the book as well. *A deposit is required with sign up for the family for the event to secure a spot. $10 deposit that can be retrieved when you come to the program, otherwise it is a donation to the library.*
Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey with the Mobile Earth + Space Observatory – a science center on wheels like no other! With a range of interactive science activities, visitors can discover the mysteries of the universe in a whole new way. Witness the sun like never before through our solar telescopes, capture yourself in a new light using an infrared camera, and explore the Martian surface with 3-D maps. These are just a few of the exciting experiences that await you on board.
Third Monday of the month 6:00- 7:45 p.m. Are you a middle or high school student looking for a fun and engaging program to attend? Our library offers a monthly program with exciting new themes and activities, along with dinner! Not only will you have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, but you’ll also have the chance to make new friends and connect with peers in your community.
Come down to the library and attend an excellent gardening class! In this class, you will learn how to grow vegetables in containers at home and gain skills for incorporating them into your meals at a low cost. You will also get the opportunity to build a container garden that you can take home with you. Additionally, you will get to sample and take home recipes featuring the crop you'll grow. *PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED* Register here: 
Discover your inner artist at the library! Unleash your creativity and paint to your heart's content. We'll provide you with all the necessary supplies including canvases, paint, and brushes. All you need to bring along is your imagination. No matter what your age, you're welcome to drop in and join us throughout the day.
A neighborhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Bring your broken items to fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers!
