February 10, 2021The ICL is partnering with Pine River Library, Durango Public Library, and the Southwest La Plata Library District to bring you the following virtual program:
Who doesn’t need a good excuse to eat chocolate? You’ve heard it can be good for you, but is there any truth to it? Join Nicole Clark from 6 pm - 7 pm on Wed, February 10th so you can better explain to your friends and family why chocolate is good for the heart and soul – just in time for the biggest chocolate holiday of the year! This mouth watering discussion will conclude with a cook-along to make a delicious chocolatey treat – for your health!
This virtual Zoom program will be hosted by Nicole Clark, R.D, La Plata County CSU Extension Family and Consumer Science Agent.

February 24, 2021The ICL is partnering with Pine River Library, Durango Public Library, and the Southwest La Plata Library District to bring you the following virtual program:
Whether you exercise or not, this program is for you! Why? Because movement has the potential to be a much more valuable addition to your life than exercise. Attend this one hour, interactive webinar from 6 pm - 7pm on Wed, February 24th to learn the science and psychology supporting this statement. Once your brain is convinced that movement may be your ticket to better health, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a brief demonstration to show you how easy it is to get started.
