We are partnering with the Early Childhood Council of La Plata County to bring you 6 free Play & Learn workshops geared toward helping pre-school aged children prepare for kindergarten. Sessions include songs, stories and hands-on learning activities that support growth in early literacy, math, motor and social emotional skills; as well as free packets of resources and activities they can engage in with children at home.
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend with their preschool age children (3-5 yrs old); Younger siblings may also attend but materials are not provided for them.
Workshops are every second Wednesday of the Month at 9:15 am, January - June starting Wednesday, January 8th , 2020.

The first meeting of every month will be focused on a specific writing technique and the second meeting will be more for writing and/or bringing in work to be shared and critiqued.

The Ignacio Community Library Board Trustees meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:15 PM in the IDEA Lab of the Ignacio Community Library. The public is invited to attend meetings of the ICL Board of Trustees. All are open to the public, unless confidential library or personnel business is being conducted.
