    Play, Learn and Grow Workshops

    January 9, 2020

The ICL is partnering with Growing Readers Together (part of the Colorado State Library) for two workshops. The workshops are for informal caregivers; these include neighbors who provide home childcare, grandparents, and friends who watch youngsters during the day and have an interest in receiving resources to help build early literacy skills in their charges. If that sounds like you, then we invite you and the children you watch (ages 6 and under) to attend. The first workshop introduces ways to prepare young children for reading and school success. The second workshop is on easy ways to make S.T.E.A.M part of everyday play. Both workshops include fabulous, free take home bags. While the workshops are designed to build off each other, you are more than welcome to attend only one if that works best for you.
