Tuesdays in September. The art of scratchboard is the practice of using etching tools and abrasives to remove applied India ink from the white Ampersand clayboard surface to reveal an image. Subjects can be animals, portraits, old rusty farm equipment, buildings or other images. Mrs. Norton, who finds hand sewing incredibly relaxing, is excited to share her passion and hopes to spark interest and inspiration in all participants.
