Youth Services

The Ignacio Community Library is proud to offer a variety of free youth services for a wide range of ages!

The following activities are listed by grade level:

Pre-K: Storytime 

  • A series of interactive songs and stories to help build literacy skills. Held every Wednesday morning from 10 am – 11 am.

Grades 1-5: Kidz Klub 

  • A club for snacks, stories and science experiments held every Thursday from 4 pm – 5 pm.

Grades 3-5: Inklings 

  • A book club held every Tuesday from 4 pm – 5pm.

Grades 6-8: Booklings 

  • A book club held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 4 pm – 5pm.

Grades 6- 12: Anime Club 

  • A club centered around the art of anime. Held the 1st Monday of every month at 4 pm.

Grades 6-12: Teen Cafe 

  • A fun place to relax, play games, and receive homework help. Held in the McClanahan Community Room every Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm.

*Reminder: All youth clubs and events hosted by the library do NOT meet whenever Ignacio public schools are not in session due to holidays or weather-related events, or whenever the library is closed.
