In honor of being closed for Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 20th the ICL will be showing the film, “Selma” on Saturday, January 18th at 1 p.m.
The unforgettable true story chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. The film also includes the Oscar-winning song, “Glory” - performed by Common and John Legend.
