Tuesdays in September. The art of scratchboard is the practice of using etching tools and abrasives to remove applied India ink from the white Ampersand clayboard surface to reveal an image. Subjects can be animals, portraits, old rusty farm equipment, buildings or other images. Each participant is responsible for purchasing their own materials, but the class itself is free. *If you need help purchasing supplies, reach out to Liz vonTauffkirchen (lvontauffkirchen@ignaciolibrary.org or 970-442-6240)
